Parallel Lines

Parallel lines are lines that lay side by side never touching or intersecting.

- The problems that could come from this picture IF the lines were not parallel is that they have a high chance of being perpendicular. This is possible because they would probably intersect. They could possibly be skew lines and never touch or be coplanar.
- There are no transversals, a line that passes through two parallel lines or two lines that lie in the same plane, in this picture. We can say this because all the lines are side by side and they don't intersect.
- The lines in this picture are parallel because they do not intersect.
- There are no definite angles in this picture.
- To prove lines are parallel, must be able to graph them and they must have the same slope.
There are plenty of ways to find out ways about parallel lines.
